A BIT ABOUT ME
My name is Lucy, I am a fully Certified and Insured Mat Pilates Instructor. I graduated with Polestar Pilates (at Moss Studio, Kings Cross, London) in July 2021.
I am also pre and postnatal trained, and an Instructor of Trigger Point Pilates.
I am a Registered Midwife, Mum of 3, and lover of all things nature and water.
I began my Pilates journey on the beaches of the Gold Coast in Australia over 7 years ago, and now continue to spread the joy and benefits in (not so sunny) England!
I teach weekly group Mat Pilates classes for all ages and abilities, and am guided by the moves and principles created by Joseph Pilates.
I also offer 1:1 sessions, for clients wanting a more personalised experience, targeting pre existing problems, limitations or complaints, and devising a specific workout to address such issues.
I believe Mat Pilates to be a beneficial form of strengthening and lengthening the muscles of the body; to improve posture, coordination, balance, concentration and focus, increased body awareness, stress management and injury prevention. It is a fantastic complimentary exercise to enjoy alongside other sports and cardio workouts.
Mat Pilates can be modified and progressed to suit individual needs and goals: you only need your own body, a mat and some floor space to practice!

GROUP PILATES

PRIVATE 1:1 SESSIONS
"Through the Pilates Method of Body Conditioning, this unique trinity of a balanced body mind and spirit can ever be attained. Self confidence follows!"
Private sessions help develop a personalised program to reach goals and ambitions, or target existing limitations within the body. Maximise the efficiency of Pilates exercises by allowing correct demonstration and mastery of a movement with 1:1 attention and focus.
